How often do I need to calibrate our PU monitor to meet the requirements of ISO 9000?

Your Quality Manager should specify this when setting up your Quality System.

However, we would recommend a yearly service and calibration for PU monitors unless prompted by damage. Probes should be sent for recalibration as soon as any damage is noticed, readings appear incorrect, with a PU monitor for service or otherwise annually.

Please note it is very important that both PU monitors, probes and test plugs have valid calibration documents! The printer/charger units do not require calibration.

When a PU monitor is returned for calibration, any probes returned with that unit are calibrated free of charge.
